WELCOME TO WILD MOUNTAIN WAX CO…
& TO THE BEAUTIFUL PACIFIC NORTHWEST

We passionately offer artisan-crafted home fragrance + apothecary goods inspired by the beauty, nature + culture of the PNW — the place in which we are fortunate to be nestled. Our unique fragrance collection was born out of a desire to share the magic of the Pacific Northwest with others and to bring a little of its natural beauty indoors.

Scents like Oregon Coast, Pacific Sunset and Cypress + Spruce embody this outdoor wonderland, while scents like Portland Rose pay honor to the city in which this labor of love was birthed. Meanwhile, our clean, minimalist product designs are intended to add simple, cozy warmth and beauty to any home.

All of our products are handcrafted with the ultimate quality and care in our Portland, Oregon studio, which we lovingly dubbed “The Grateful Shed”. Because we are grateful.

Several years ago, my husband Chris and I sold our business and home, then loaded up our rescued pitbull, belongings, and life as we knew it to drive across the country to Oregon. We had long dreamed of exploring and living in the Pacific Northwest, but we had no idea how much it would truly impact our lives for the better.

Here, we are nestled in the embrace of snow-capped mountains and mossy rainforests; a two-hour drive to either jagged coastline or high desert. The wild PNW now inspires everything we are and do.

In our time here, I have been lucky enough to forge a beautiful friendship with a native Oregonian named Kim. A fellow Portlander, she recently became my business partner, and we are thrilled to embark on this creative journey together.

I hope you enjoy our handcrafted goods as much as we enjoy creating them for you. As we imagine them bringing warmth + joy to you in your home, our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy.

STAY WILD,
HEATHER + KIM

HOW WE GIVE BACK

As a small, heart-led business, it is important to us to do our part to give back to our community and planet.

That’s why I’m proud to donate a portion of profits to the National Forest Foundation, to plant trees, protect waterways and maintain trails throughout our local Mt. Hood Wilderness. We can view Mt. Hood from our neighborhood, and so much of our life is lived in its lush forests. We are proud to be able to give back to it in some small way.

When you purchase one of our artisan-crafted goods, you can smile knowing that you’re also putting an extra bit of love into the world. Thank you.
